SWAROVSKI CRYSTAL WORLDS

SCHWAZ SILVER WORKS

Experience how over 500 years ago more than 11.000 workers mined silver and copper. The Fugger town Schwaz, in those days was the second largest town in Austria and the most important silver mining metropolis in the world. "Glück auf!" at the entrance of the 800 m deep Sigmund shaft. Boards, glass cabinets and slide shows present the miner's tools. Visual and acoustic effects complete the knowledfeable explanations from the mining time.

MERAN - SÜDTIROL

The journey there is over the Timmelsjoch (2.509 m) and the romantic Passeier valley trough to Meran. The jolly graveyard next to the Sagzahn-Art smithy is a private show and museum graveyard with witty Marterl-texts on the old grave crosses and headstones. It was appointed by the Guggenberger family, and counts as a singular rarity in Europe.
