MOUNTAINBIKETRANSPORT MIT DER GAISLACHKOGLBAHN

On both sections of the Gaislachkogl mountain gondola mountain bikes are transported in summer.

The mountain bike transport is free of charge with a valid gondola ticket. MTB day-tickets are issued only for mountain bikers with bicycle. The tickets are valid only for uphill rides (no downhill gondola ride!).

From the middle station (2,178 m) you can choose from different downhill routes:
Gaislachalmen -> Sölden:
Heidealm (2,130 m) -> Alpengasthof Gaislachalm (1,968 m) -> Sölden (1,370 m), approx. 10 km gravel trail down to Sölden '
Rettenbachalm -> Hochsölden -> Sölden:
Rettenbachalm (2,145 m) -> Hochsölden (2,080 m) -> Sölden (1,370 m), footpath + asphalt road - approx. 12 km
 


GAISLACHKOGL SINGLE TRAIL



Start: Gaislachkogl top station, 3,048 m
End: Gaislachkogl middle station, 2.178 m
Difference in altitude: 870 m
Distance: approx. 4.5 km
Difficulty level: single trail, extremely difficult

The Gaislachkogl Single Trail is a challenging route with extremely steep, long and demanding downhill parts, leading from the top station (3,048 m) to the middle station (2,178 m) of Gaislachkogl mountain gondola. A good physical shape, downhill experience, appropriate equipment and protective clothing are absolutely required! The Single Trail is suitable only for experienced mountain bikers with a good head for heights.
