FREERIDE WORLD SÖLDEN

Sölden’s high alpine terrain is a small freeride paradise for skiers and boarders. A generous amount of runs can be accessed directly from the groomers and lifts.

Thanks to its altitude with lifts up to 3400 meters, Sölden offers long powder runs of up to 2000 vertical meters – and that’s without having to hike a single step. Of course if you’re able and willing to hike a little to earn your turn, the possibilities are endless. Snowboarders will love Sölden immediately for its snowboard-friendly terrain and experienced freeriders will find powder here from November through to May.

Your first stop in Sölden should be the freeride center Sölden. There you can get lots of current and reliable info about the local snow and weather conditions. In case you don’t know the area or aren’t very experienced in the backcountry, don’t hesitate to book a freeride guide to make the most out of your stay.
