During the 2009 summer months the Tiefenbach Glacier Restaurant will be extended and redesigned. Although a part of the foundation will remain the same, the restaurant will appear in a completely new look. The capacity will reach some 900 seats in the restaurant and another 500 seats on the terrace – where also a new bar will be added.

Of course the sanitary facilities will be renewed as well. The new facade made of glass, stone and steel elements will add to a totally new experience – the building's architectonic characteristics are in perfect tune with the adjacent terminal of the Tiefenbach mountain gondola.

The project was planned by the Wimreiter Architect's Office from Saalbach/Austria, which has already gained an excellent reputation for redesigning the Giggijoch Restaurant. Investment volume: € 4 million
