Zwieselstein is a small and peaceful village at 1,470m above sea level, embedded in a tiny basin of the upper Ötztal Valley. The Sölden ski area is only a stone's throw away, the slopes of Obergurgl and Hochgurgl can be easily reached within a short drive, while ski mountaineers enjoy the close vicinity to the village of Vent. Zwieselstein makes a perfect base for varied winter holidays off the beaten tracks. A relaxing stay in a very special ambiance.
ZWIESELSTEIN'S GREAT CHARM
You will still find old wooden houses here. The little church with its altar of the Virgin Mary originates from the year 1747. Those with an eye for art will also find a gallery in the village displaying mostly local artists in exhibitions.
