The Ötztal Urweg, a long-distance hiking trail in 12 stages, travels through the entire valley - from the valley entrance at 684 meters altitude to heights beyond 3000 meters. On the approx. 180 hiking kilometers in between, thousands of impressions will capture you while you get to know the valley like the back of your hand. At higher altitudes, the high Alpine Ötztal Trek takes you across gaps, ridges and peaks through the awesome mountain scenery while the European long-distance hiking trail E5 leads southwards.

Your all-inclusive card for your summer holiday in Ötztal: The unrivaled Summer Card is available for guests who stay overnight at one of the 330 partner accommodations and includes free services such as rides on the summer mountain lifts, admission to swimming pools, museums and other excursion destinations as well as mountain bike & bicycle rental and free use of public bus lines - to name just a few of the highlights already included. Those who don't stay at one of the partner accommodations can purchase the Summer Card for 3, 7 or 10 days.
 

In Ötztal you won't bite on granite, you better cling to it. The valley is considered one of the granite climbing areas par excellence in Tirol. In 19 climbing gardens you can live out vertical dreams on around 750 routes. 8 via ferratas and an abundance of multi-pitch tours make you fit for the rocks. Last but not least, the certified and local climbing and mountain guide professionals will take care of you on the way to the top.
