A piece of good advice: keep playing, don't cram!

Give your bike a (first) kick: the freely accessible Mountain Bike Skill Center in Umhausen makes a haven for families with (small) children as well as beginners to give sports on two wheels a try in a very playful way on some 2500 m².

Biking, child's play

The easily accessible mountain bike course is free of charge, offering children and toddlers as well as bike novices the opportunity to get fit for off-road biking in a playful way.

Located directly on the Ötztal Cycle Trail and close to Umhausen's village center, the practicing course promises plenty of space for individual bike technique training on a total area of around 2500 m².

From balance bikes to e-bikes

Ber it a balance bike, hardtail bike, e-bike or a fully - the mountain bike playground is not only suitable for all types of bikes, but is also designed for all ages and skill levels.

The youngest ones can do their first laps under the watchful eyes of their parents on the 190 m long balance bike trail. It features a couple of easy obstacles in the form of waves and curves. This is the perfect way to improve cycling technique basics such as keeping track and balancing.

In a separate area you will find a 300 m long children's trail. It is designed as a loop, so that an uphill and downhill section can be chosen optionally. The curves have generous radii of three to four meters. More demanding obstacles such as waves, seesaw, balance elements (can be bypassed) or uneven ground improve safety and promote coordination. An ascent trail takes the youngsters back to the start of the downhill stretches that vary in difficulty.
