Beautiful *** Guesthouse on the Rofenhöfe 2044 m Since 1985 the familiar, comfortable ambience invites you to enter, stay and relax. Our hospitality and the enthusiasm for our profession are reflected among other things in a large number of our regular guests. From our ancestors Nikodemus and Leander Klotz, who were the first climbers of the highest mountain in Tyrol - the Wildspitze (3774m) - we were given the love for nature and the mountains.

The Polles valley is the longest side valley of the Ötztal. The Polles Alm is located at an altitude of 1.782m and is easily accessible in approx. 2 hours starting at the football ground in Huben. The first path leads through the „Ötztaler Sagenweg“ to the Feuerstein hut and further on an old very beautiful hiking trail up to the Polles hut. Ideal for a family hike or for a mountain bike tour. The hike can be continued further to Hinter Polles (1h) or a steep rocky path over the Hahlkoglhaus (2.5h - uncultivated) back to Huben (2h). On Tuesdays and Thursdays, the innkeepers offer an Alpine breakfast upon reservation.

The route leads from Mühle in Huben to the Polltal and Breitlehnalm pastures. Hikers will soon be able to switch to the footpath, which has a steep incline, but will shorten the many hairpin bends. What is striking is the fern-rich larch and stone pine forest which you walk through almost to the very top. Once at the hut, you can enjoy a wonderful view of the valley and the Ötztal mountains. Relaxed and strengthened, it's back down to the valley. To do this, either choose the route or hike further to the Breitlehnalm and from there take the mountain climb (a little steeper) back to Huben. Walking time: 2 hours
