The Area 47 is an ultimate outdoor activity park known in all Europe and offers myriad thrills and action sports such as climbing and river rafting, wakeboarding and extreme water slides, mountain biking and motocross freeride. The Water AREA can be watched by wheelchair users from the panoramic windows of the wheelchair-friendly Lakeside Restaurant. The Lakeside Restaurant offers special places directly on the lake of the WATER AREA overlooking the whole range of action!

Arrival and parking:	From the roundabout an asphalt road leads down to the Area 47 for about 1 km. There are several parking areas along the road towards the main building. Even buses can easily drive and turn here. Right in front of the reception there are two disabled parking spaces. A wooden bridge leads over the Ötztaler Ache mountain brook to the main part of the Area 47. Following the paved road, you reach the Lakeside Restaurant and the cash desk office for the Water Area. Wheelchair users are allowed to drive here by car. Currently there is no marked disabled parking.
Access:	The barrier-free main entrance is located on the right (eastern) side of the building near the cash desks of the Water Area. Two double doors, each with a width of 120 cm, lead into an entrance room with guest toilets. The large terrace is also accessible without thresholds on the lateral part of the main entrance.
Exhibition rooms / lounge area / outdoor area:	Another glass double door (120 cm wide) without thresholds leads to the self-service restaurant. Straight ahead you get to the spacious bar, left of it there are the self-service area with buffet (heights between 84 and 90 cm) and the cash desk (90 cm high with mobile payment devices). On the right side you will find numerous tables with chairs (the square tables have a 64.5 cm high bottom edge, the round ones a 73.5 cm high bottom edge). From the terrace you enjoy superb views of the action provided in the Water Area. The terrace tables have a 69 cm high bottom edge and armchair with elbow rests. There is also an access area to the terrace on the west-facing side but it has two steps (difference in height: 27 - 32 cm).
Toilet:	A separate disabled toilet with an outward opening, 105 cm wide door is available. It provides enough maneuvering area for wheelchair users, a toilet with 44 cm of seat height, a short angular handle (caution: it is 54 cm from the toilet edge) but a folding support handle on the other side is unfortunately missing. There is a wheelchair-accessible washbasin (74 cm high bottom edge) with mirror at the right height. An emergency cord is also available, it extends to 115 cm above the ground.
Additional offers in the house:	Wheelchair users can accompany us on river rafting adventures or use the Wake Area with their own wakeboard.
