The three-star Hotel-Gasthof Schöpf is located in the hamlet of Gries (municipality of Längenfeld) at 1600 m above sea level and is easily accessible from Längenfeld via a well-developed but very winding mountain road. There is a wheelchair suitable room with some restrictions as the entrance and the access to the bathroom are only partially adapted.

Arrival and parking: Access to the house and room/apartment		The pension has a private parking area with many parking spaces on two sides of the house. A marked disabled parking lot is available. The main entrance is accessible from the parking area via two automatic glass sliding doors, each 130 cm wide without thresholds.
Other, generally accessible house areas:		A corridor leads from the reception area to a small bar and, just behind it, to the breakfast room with buffet. There are enough maneuvering areas for wheelchair users or baby carriages. The restaurant area is suitable for wheelchair users (not so the rustic lounge). There are tables of different sizes with chairs or benches. The rectangular tables have a 71 cm high bottom edge but are mounted to a 2.5 cm high metal base which is largely not accessible for wheelchair users. We recommend the round tables with a 69 cm high bottom edge, which can be easily accessed by wheelchairs. A barrier-free WC fully adapted for disabled guests is available on the first basement level and can be reached comfortably by using the elevator. Unfortunately, the sauna parlor and wellness area are not adapted for wheelchair users. Spacious hotel lift (145 cm deep x 136 cm wide) with low control panel so that wheelchair useres can easily reach it.
Room/living area/WC and bathroom:		Room 114 is well adapted for wheelchair users. Although the room door is 90 cm wide, the effective width in the bottom area is only 75 cm as there is a wall projecting into the corridor on the right side. The bed has a 53 cm high mattress top. It is 23 cm high and 13 cm deep for wheelchairs and features a distance of 90 cm from the wall on the left side, 80 cm from the wall on the right side. The bathroom has an outward opening door that is 80 cm wide. The bathroom is equipped with a makeup mirror (140 cm) and a hairdryer (height: 160 cm) which may be too difficult to reach. The balcony is 150 cm deep and 450 cm long and can only be reached via a threshold (8 cm inside, 4.5 cm outside).
Additional offers in the house/surroundings:		In winter Gries has a small ski lift with practicing slope. In summer there are wonderful hiking trails and walking routes.
