Patric Grüner, 48 hours and 31,890 meters in altitude

The local cyclist faces the challenge this summer to set a new altitude world record. He will ride his bicycle on the glacier road for 48 hours in a circle.

The route on which Grüner is biking extends from the parking lot at the beginning of the glacier road to the junction to Hochsölden. That's 1.87 kilometers and 227 vertical meters.
