ÖTZTAL'S ALPINE CENTER

Sölden

This is where you are: you enter the municipal territory of Sölden about 1 km before you reach the village - comprising the holiday resorts of Sölden (1377 m), Hochsölden (2090 m), Zwieselstein (1470 m) and Vent (1900 m). The entire municipality has 146 km² of glaciers, 321 km² of Alpine summits, pastures and forests, and only 1 km² of populated (built-up) area. Reasons enough to call Sölden the Alpine Center of the Ötztal Valley.
