Zwieselstein, the small and peaceful village at 1472 meters above sea level, is embedded in a tiny basin of the upper Ötztal Valley. What's best, the Sölden ski area can be found nearby and the slopes of Obergurgl and Hochgurgl are easily accessible within a short drive while ski alpinists enjoy the close vicinity to the mountaineering village of Vent.
CULTURE & CHARM
Zwieselstein is simply different. Here you still find old wooden houses deeply rooted in the valley's history. The little church with its precious altar of the Virgin Mary originates from the year 1747. Those with an eye for art can also visit a gallery displaying mostly exhibitions of local artists. A highlight also for holiday makes in winter!
