The hiking paradise of Sölden also has a marvelous winter season: 49.5 km of cleared, signposted winter hiking trails take walkers straight through snow-covered forests, white meadows and along Ötztaler Ache mountain brook. Adventure-seeking vacationers grab their snowshoes and listen to the crunching snow under their feet while lively Sölden disappears in the background. Trudging  through the untouched white either on your own or accompanied by a local guide you will take new insights on the way to rustic mountain huts.

Directly from the bus stop Lenzenalm or the car park Lenzenalm you can start the tour.

The hike to Lenzenalm is ideal for families. The walking time from the bus stop to the Lenzenalm is about 1 hour.

During the winter season the Lenzenalm has open on WE TH and SU .

There is also the possibility to rent tobaggans at the hut and sledge down on the same way.

Equipment

An adequate coverage such as breathable and weather-adapted outdoor clothing, wind, rain, snow and sun protection, hat and gloves, is required for all walks and tours. It is recommended to bring a first aid package, a mobile phone and possibly a touring map. As well as for tours without refreshment, the entrainment of sufficient provisions is necessary.

The hike starts directly at the bus stop Lenzenalm or at the parking lot Lenzenalm.From there you need about 1 hour to the Lenzenalm.

It goes up comfortably through the forest. Always slightly uphill, but not particularly exhausting. The last ascent to the hut is a bit steeper, but then you can enjoy the view from there to Gurgl.

Enjoy a comfortable and relaxing train ride to the train station Ötztal Bahnhof. You get off the train in ÖTZTAL Bahnhof where you change to a public bus or local taxi.

Getting there

The drive to the ÖTZTAL. Located in Tyrol, the ÖTZTAL branches off to the south as the longest side valley of the Eastern Alps. Arriving by car leads guests over the Inn Valley to the valley entrance and further along the Ötztal. In addition to the toll motorway can also be used on rural roads.
