Trudging  through the untouched white either on your own or accompanied by a local guide you will take new insights on the way to rustic mountain huts.

From the parish church in Umhausen you head towards Niederthai. Leave the road at Bischoffsplatz car park and Kneipp area,following the signs to „Arzwinkl Waalweg“. Continue towards the waterfalls. Return via Stuböbele mountain inn and „Stuiben Nannele“ wayside statue, then turn right into Steppsteig footpath. Back to the village center of Umhausen. (Time: 2.5 hrs)
