BIG3 - 3 THREE THOUSAND MOUNTAINS

Sölden is Austria's first resort offering no less than three mountain peaks beyond 10.000 ft - called the BIG 3 - which are easily accessible by ski lifts.

We talk about three peaks:

  • Gaislachkogl (3,058 m)
  • Tiefenbachkogl (3,250 m) and
  • Schwarze Schneid (3,340 m)

  • Three ultimate viewing platforms, three ski mountains and three stunning panoramic views in XXL format! Sölden's marvelous BIG 3 open a new dimension in winter tourism, in skiing and experiencing the Alpine scenery.
    BIG 3 - Gaislachkogl (3.058 m)

Gaislachkogl is the lowest BIG 3 peak with an altitude of 3,058 m. Nevertheless, it offers an unforgettable 360-degree panorama from the viewing platform overlooking the entire valley.
    BIG 3 - Tiefenbachkogl (3.250 m)

At Tiefenbach Glacier skiers and non-skiers find the second viewing platform boasting a great vista of Wildspitze peak (3,776 m), Tirol's highest mountain, including the nearby summits and mountain ranges.
    BIG 3 - Schwarze Schneide (3.340 m)

Austria's one and only ski trail featuring 10,000 meters of elevation change is complemented by Schwarze Schneide (3,340 m), the giant among Sölden's ski mountains and - at the same time - the "youngest" vantage point as it was opened in October 2003 by means of a new detachable, single-rope gondola.
    BIG 3 - Rally

All skiers who conquer these three mountains in one day can be really proud of their skiing skills. They can look back on approx. 50 kilometers and 10,000 meters of elevation change, plus three breathtaking 360-degree panoramas unique in Europe.
