4-day Forecast

Friday will be the last day of a long row of summer days, which have determined the weather over the recent months. Upcoming Saturday will finally mark the end of this weather period, and not only because of the beginning of calendrical autumn. However, a first weak cold front on Friday night will not result in a significant change in air masses. The temperatures will only slightly decrease for the moment, they will be seasonal. Besides, very windy conditions are expected. The wind will bring another flush of warm Mediterranean air to our regions, besides a stormy southerly föhn wind will live up in the mountains. On Monday, a further, this time distinctly stronger cold front will reach us. The frost line and the snow line will decrease significantly. As the air pressure will rapidly increase again, large amounts of precipitation are not expected.
