Where hospitality is a priority32 Alpine pasture huts and snack stations plus 12 refuge huts provide fresh energy along the extensive hiking trail network of Sölden. On the sunny terraces with overwhelming views, traditional dishes like bacon dumplings, cheese spaetzle and Kaiserschmarrn are served after having conquered loads of altitude meters. Some Alpine inns, snack stations and mountain restaurants are easily accessible on cart trails or by mountain lifts, and make a great outing destination even in unstable weather. At the very top - from every point of view - there is the glass-covered ice Q gourmet temple, spoiling guests with toque-awarded gourmet creations at the peak of Gaislachkogl.

Hochjoch-Hospiz occupies a beautiful location on a hill, surrounded by the majestic three thousand meter high peaks of the Ötztal Alps. The hut is a popular base for all kinds of mountain tours.

The Hut: At Gampe Thaya only local produce from our own farms is used to prepare typical Ötztal specialties which are served in the cosy wooden parlors or on the wonderful sunbathing terrace. In the "Gampe Ladele" all local products are available for sale, like freshly made cheese. Large playground. Breakfast on the hut on request! Rustic mountain farm and dairy with Tirolean grey cattle, own mountain cheese production.

The Brandenburg house is the highest hut in the Ötztal Alps and is situated on 3272 m. It is also called the glacier palace. The lodge is accessible only by the glacier. High Alpine Mountain Tour - Mountain equipment required. For a suitable acclimatization training excellent.

The Siegerland Hütte
The hut is high above the Windachtal in the Stubaier Alps on 2.710 metres and not far from the border to South Tyrol. It also has his own climbing garden.
The hut was built in 1928/29 and opened in 1930. The owner is the DAV, section Siegerland.
Every year the section renovates and renews the hut, which is very neat. The Siegerland Refuge is of course not the oldest hut and not the most comfortable one, but we are sure, it is one of the most beautiful huts in the Stubaier Alps.
The hut extinguish with it’s simplicity- but please believe- the "Kaiserschmarrn" never tasted better than up in the mountains.
The hut has 23 beds and 26 dorm mattresses.

The Braunschweigerhütte (category I) lies on 2759 m in the Ötztaler nightmares at the end of the Pitztals. The hut was built in 1892 and was extended in 1932 and 1965. The hut is located on the distant footpath E5. Totally 180 sleeping possibilities.

Similaunhütte was built over 100 years ago and is a popular base for peak climbs. The site where "Ötzi” the Iceman was found is only a 1-hour walk from the hut.

We are directly at the summit of the 2.738 m high Brunnenkogel in Sölden, surrounded by the Stubaier and Ötztaler Alps. The unique mountain panorama you will hardly find on another hut like here at the Brunnenkogelhaus. Whether sunrise or sundown - it is always an unforgettable experience.

The hut: newly built in 2007, located in Sölden's quiet part, Brunnenkogel offers picturesque views of the Alpine scenery. Sunbathing terrace, homey parlor. ideal for birthday parties, school outings, etc.

With the cozy hut Stallwiesalm you have reached a great mountain hut in the foothills of mighty Söldenkogl peak at 1.850 m altitude.
The hut is well known for its culinary delicious comprising Tyrolean specialities like roast pork shank, spare ribs, cheese spaetzles and Emperor-style shredded pancake!

Scenic Stableinalm offers a marvelous sun terrace with uninterrupted views of the Rofental valley, the Ortler mountain massif and the rear Ötztal Alps. Fiegl´s Hütte on Windachalm 1985m:
Visit our Fiegl`s Hütte in the romantic Windachtal,
better known as "LITTLE CANADA" among mountain and hunting aficionados.
Approx. 1h45min. walking time from Sölden. It's also possible to take the bus line from Sölden to us. The bus stops approx. 500m in front of our hut. For bike aficionados there are plenty of singletrail routes in all difficulties leading from and to the hut.
Tasty dishes and refreshing drinks and a cozy spot with a great view right to the Stuibai and Ötztal Alps...Fiegl`s Hütte...amidst "Sölden's quiet part". It's the starting point for scenic mountain hikes e.g. to the "Zuckerhütl", the highest mountain in the Stuibai Alps, as well as various hut hikes: Hochstubaihütte 4-5h, Siegerlandhütte 3h, Hildesheimerhütte 3h and Brunnenkogelhaus 3h, Kleble Alm 2h
However, if these tours are too demanding, you can also hike leisurely in the Windachtal - without high gradients - on a comfortable hiking path. Or you just enjoy this border valley between the Ötztaler and Stubai Alps in Fiegl's hut, with cake and coffee.
