We think, bread should keep up with the times.
This is the credo of Thomas Gstrein and his predecessor Christoph Gstrein, who are currently working side- by-side to continue the business to the next and fifth generation. In a new baking location, with the existing team, and with an exclusive shop with café. Grab a bite in between in the heart of Sölden. Only 100 meters from the Gaislachkoglbahn, next to the bike park.

If the kitchen is the heart of our hotel and inn, then the old rooms are probably their soul.
Poeple are often coming together at the Gasthof Zwieselstein with pleasure. That's because of the real, lived tyrolean hospitality and because of the renowned kitchen. The Cooking is done by the landlord in person.
Preferably be served special treats from the region, but also the new, modern and light is not too short. To prepare the host and chef Gotthard Gstrein used almost exclusively by his natural and healthy farmers.

Similaunhütte was built over 100 years ago and is a popular base for peak climbs. The site where "Ötzi” the Iceman was found is only a 1-hour walk from the hut.
To the hut: from Vent through niedertal - via Martin Busch Hütte - across the glacier, altitude gain: 1,120 m, length: 14 km, time: 4 h
Winter: ski tour from Vent to the hut; highest base for the classic Ötztal ski mountaineering loop. altitude gain: 1,120 m, length: 14 km, time: 5 h
Crossings: Hauslabjoch - Schöne Aussicht, Saykogel - Hochjoch-Hospiz, crossing from north Tirol into South Tirol (also for mountainbikers)

It was (probably) invented by the Swiss. The word fondue comes from the French word "fondre", meaning "melted".
