At the beginning of Sölden is the restaurant and pizzeria Salino. We like to spoil you in comfortable atmosphere with pizza, noodle dishes, meat food, grilled meats, steaks as well as different salads and desserts.In autumn we have wild board weeks and in spring asparagus weeks in our supply.For groups we also have menu offers on enquiry. The whole scenery is dominated by Tyrol's highest mountain, the Wildspitze at 3,768 m.Hiking & Mountaineering.Vent can confidently be called a place of longing for mountaineers and hikers. The original mountain village owes this reputation to its historical connection to alpinism. And therefore belongs to the illustrious circle of Austrian mountaineering villages. Time seems to stand still here, but you shouldn't. Challenging summit tours, seemingly endless long-distance hiking trails, hut tours lasting several days, leisurely family hikes and educational theme trails await you. The summer cable cars facilitate the ascent and descent to the mountain world and to the alpine pastures and huts, while the mountain guides of Venter will guide you safely across the fles, ice and snow.
The Siegerland HütteThe hut is high above the Windachtal in the Stubaier Alps on 2.710 metres and not far from the border to South Tyrol. It also has his own climbing garden. The hut was built in 1928/29 and opened in 1930. The owner is the DAV, section Siegerland.Every year the section renovates and renews the hut, which is very neat. The Siegerland Refuge is of course not the oldest hut and not the most comfortable one, but we are sure, it is one of the most beautiful huts in the Stubaier Alps. The hut extinguish with it’s simplicity- but please believe- the "Kaiserschmarrn" never tasted better than up in the mountains.The hut has 23 beds and 26 dorm mattresses.
