Cross-country skiers will benefit from three rewarding trails in Sölden for free. No matter if you prefer an easy loop tour across flat meadows (Hofer Boden-Windau), an intermediate route with gently rolling descents and ascents (Untersölden) or a moderately difficult forest and meadow track near Zwieselstein: the altitude between 1368 m in Sölden and over 1500 m in Zwieselstein also attracts top athletes due to the so-called "high altitude training effect". Even ambitious Nordic skiing amateurs push themselves to a new fitness level by using two poles.
