Professional preparation for off-piste

Freeride, off-piste and ski touring are growing in popularity year after year. The slopes in the ski areas are perfectly groomed and save but off the beaten track everyone is responsible for themselves.

Even the best equipment fails if you do not know how to use it.
As soon as someone gets under an avalanche every second counts. Without the help of the non-buried colleagues the chances of survival decrease.

Every movement in the first 15 minutes has to match.

Time is running out, air is running out! A maximum of 15 minutes remain to bring a buried person to the surface alive. Therefore every action and every detail has to be perfect so that you react correctly and not too late. Almost everyone has an avalanche transceiver with them, but who can use it properly in an emergency? Using avalanche transceivers requires some practice. In this intensive training course we show in theory and practice how to optimally use safety equipment in an emergency. 20 years of avalanche transceiver experience and test centers flows into the training. The latest rescue material: avalanche transceiver devices, shovels, probes and airbag backpacks supplied by Arva, ABS, BCA, Mammut, Pieps and Ortovox can be tested extensively. Theory in the morning followed by intensive afternoon training in the terrain. Putting into practice what you have learned under the supervision and guidance of a UIAA-certified mountain and ski guide. The aim is not to sell equipment, but to offer participants a platform to find their perfect equipment, which can then be purchased in specialist sports shops. Of course, there is also the opportunity to get optimal training in theory and practice for the equipment you have already purchased.
