Slope tip: piste No. 38 at Tiefenbach Glacier

Totally spacy

Are you looking for one of the most rewarding ski runs in Sölden? Then we can provide a remedy. May we introduce: piste No. 38 at Tiefenbach Glacier.

Skiing at the glacier

Fun on slopes with an unbeatable panorama

Scenic piste No. 38 at Tiefenbach Glacier is recommended to every skier who wants to aim high and even higher. The ("easy") blue slope starts at 3250 meters on Tiefenbachkogl and leads with a panoramic view to the valley station of the gondola Tiefenbachbahn. In between: leisurely skiing fun in XXL format due to the extraordinary width of the slope without any prominent crests or crossings. Thanks to the ascent by mountain gondola, you can get back to the starting point easily and comfortably. Don't miss out on the incredible outlook – for instance from the BIG3 panorama footpath at Tiefenbachkogl. The panoramic vistas of the snow-covered mountains are really awe-inspiring!

Tunnel vision

Piste No. 38 can also be reached via Rettenbach Glacier and Schwarze Schneid II gondola or Karleskogl T-bar lift. And there is a very special experience waiting for you. If you want to cross the mountain on skis, a ski tunnel connects the two glacier ski areas.

HERE you find the interactive ski area map of Sölden, optionally in 2-D or 3-D.

Tips from a Sölden local:

This tip comes from Isidor Grüner from Sölden. The former ski-cross professional knows the Sölden ski area like the back of his hand and has been the slope manager responsible for the difficult preparation of the World Cup slope already for years.
