With a 3-day ski pass, skiing in the Ötztal knows no limits (ski areas): The Ötztal Super Skipass is valid in all ski resorts of the Ötztal. These include Sölden, Obergurgl-Hochgurgl, Vent, Hochoetz-Kühtai, Niederthai and Gries.More info about the Ötztal Super Skipass.  

The validity of the ski pass depends on the length of time purchased. Day passes are valid only on the day of purchase, while multi-day passes are valid for the number of consecutive days booked. Some special passes, such as the 5 in 7 or 6 in 8 pass, offer flexibility within a certain time period.

Yes, for beginners there are special ski passes that offer access to selected easy slopes. These passes are usually cheaper and allow beginners to practice on the easier routes. To the prices. 

The 1.5-day pass is valid from 11:00 am on the first morning and also includes the entire following day. This card is ideal for late-night travellers who want to spend the afternoon on the slopes. The 1.5-day pass is only available at the ticket offices of the Bergbahnen Sölden. 

The 6+ day ski pass includes access to all open slopes in the ski area for the entire validity period. With a six days skipass a free admission to the 007 Elements adventure world and the Top Mountain Motorcycle Museum is also included. Admission to 007 ELEMENTS can be booked in advance here , and the entrance to the motorcycle museum is automatically added to the ski ticket. 

The flexible ticket 5 in 7 allows you to ski on five days of your choice within seven days. Similarly, the flexible ticket 6 in 8 offers the possibility to use the slopes on six days within eight days. These passes offer flexibility for skiers who do not want to ride every single day.

The ski passes are personalized only from the first use on site. From that point on, they are strictly personal and may not be passed on to other persons. The Photo Compare system is used throughout the entire ski area to ensure that the ski pass is only used by the authorised user. Photos are taken when passing the turnstiles, which are checked by our staff. 

Unfortunately, you do not have a right of withdrawal from the purchase of a ski pass, according to §18 Abs 1 Z 10 FAGG. However, if you book your ski pass online, you can also book a cancellation protection upgrade. With this optional protection you have the possibility to cancel your booking free of charge up to five days before the first day of validity if something unforeseen happens. After this time or without cancellation protection, a cancellation or exchange is unfortunately not possible. 

If you have a sports accident in the ski resort of Sölden, you can get a refund for the unused days of your ski pass. It is important that you present the operation protocol of the ski rescue to the ticket office. The refund starts from the day after the accident, but half day tickets and 1-day tickets are not refundable. Please note that the costs for the rescue and maintenance by the slope rescue will be deducted from the refund. A refund is only possible for you as the person concerned, not for accompanying persons.

If you lose your ski pass, there is no replacement. It is important to store the ski pass carefully, as a new pass would have to be purchased in this case.

After a successful online booking you will receive an order confirmation by e-mail. This contains a QR-collection code, with which you can collect your tickets directly at the ticket machines or the pick-up stations in the ski resort. To the locations.

The rule is: the earlier you book, the higher the discount. The more demand and the closer the date, the higher the price. Particularly popular days are more expensive. An advantage of online shopping: Until five days before the validity date, prices in the online ticket shop are always cheaper than when buying on site.

You can only cancel or change your order if you have chosen the Cancellation Protection upgrade. This allows you to cancel your booking free of charge up to five days before the first day of validity. Changes without this upgrade or after the deadline are not possible. 

The Cancellation Protection Upgrade allows you to cancel your booking up to five days before the first day of validity without giving any reason. Please inform us of your cancellation request by e-mail to orders@soelden.com, indicating the order number. 

In the online shop you can pay with VPay, Maestro, Visa, Mastercard, Visa Debit and Mastercard Debit. Please note that when using credit and debit cards, a 3D-Secure procedure must be activated. This means that you may need to go through an additional security check, such as "Verified by Visa" or "MasterCard SecureCode".

In Sölden you can generally ski from mid-October to the beginning of May. Thanks to the two glaciers, the Rettenbach and Tiefenbach, Sölden offers a particularly long ski season. The exact opening hours may vary depending on weather and snow conditions.

The Sölden ski area usually opens in mid-October with the first lifts on the glaciers. The entire ski area usually opens from early to mid-November. The exact opening depends on snow conditions and is announced every year in advance.

The Sölden ski area offers a total of 144 km of slopes, which are spread over 31 km of blue, 63 km of red and 27 km of black slopes. In addition, there are 23 km of ski routes. This means that Sölden offers the right terrain for all skill levels, from beginner slopes to demanding descents.

Please note that Bergbahnen Sölden only provides transport services on the basis of the General Terms and Conditions in the currently valid version.

  • Validity:
    The lift tickets are valid during the winter season in the ski area of Bergbahnen Sölden (winter ski area and glacier ski areas). From a validity period of 3 days, the lift ticket is also valid in all other ski areas in Ötztal (Gries, Hochötz, Niederthai, Obergurgl/Hochgurgl, Vent) during the winter season. Not valid for season tickets. As a rule, the validity of the lift ticket begins on the day of issue. On request, all lift tickets except season and 1.5-day tickets can be purchased in advance. Lift tickets can be used from 15:00 on the day before they are valid. Lift tickets are always valid on consecutive days, an interruption is not possible (with the exception of season tickets). A subsequent extension/postponement of the validity period of lift tickets is not possible.

  • Misuse:
    Lift tickets are personal and non-transferable. Misuse of a lift ticket (passing on and using someone else's lift ticket, using the transport service without a lift ticket or fraudulent use) will result in immediate withdrawal of the lift ticket without compensation.
    The visitor who misuses a lift ticket as described above is obliged to pay the currently valid daily ticket rate (1-day adult) and a processing fee of € 100. The BBS also reserves the right to press charges in such cases. Do not buy lift tickets via third parties - these could be blocked!’

  • Refunds:
    Without thereby limiting any other statutory or contractual claims for reimbursement or damages of the visitor, the BBS will voluntarily reimburse the paid fee in the event of a sports accident in the Sölden ski area: Upon presentation of the piste rescue report, the lift ticket of the injured person will be refunded at the ski pass ticket offices (no refund for accompanying persons). The days not used will be refunded from the day after the accident. Season and 1-day tickets will not be refunded. The rescue and supply costs of the piste rescue service will be deducted immediately from the refund according to the operation report/invoice.

  • Discounts:
    Tickets for children, young people, disabled persons and snowkids are only granted on presentation of photo ID, without exception. Please understand that our ticket office staff may not make any exceptions. A disabled discount is granted from a documented degree of disability of 60%.

  • Prices:
    The current prices for the various services can be found in the BBS price list. ‘Dynamic’ (variable) prices apply to online tickets.
    A mixed price is calculated for tickets over a season cut-off point. 
    Discounts and competitions are not valid for season tickets.

  • Miscellaneous:
    Please note the information at the entrances to the lifts and in the valley stations.
    Before using the services of the BBS, the visitor must familiarise himself with the General Terms and Conditions of Bergbahnen Sölden, the respective conditions of carriage, the information at the entrances to the lifts and in the valley stations, the measures communicated by the BBS in connection with COVID-19 and the FIS rules.
    The use of the services of the BBS requires various processing operations relating to the personal data of visitors. Please note that for the purpose of access control, photographs of the visitor are taken and compared by the lift staff (details can be found in the privacy policy).
