007 Elements

The average duration of a visit to 007 ELEMENTS is about 1.5 hours. However, you're welcome to take as much time as you like to fully enjoy the exhibition.

In principle, dogs are allowed. However, please note that the exhibition includes loud sounds and dark spaces, which may be disturbing for some dogs. Please consider your pet’s well-being and make sure they feel comfortable in such an environment.

The recommended minimum age for visiting 007 ELEMENTS is 12 years. Children may enter, but it is at the parents’ or guardians’ own responsibility.

If you book a timeslot from 09:00 to 11:00, you can enter any time between 09:00 and 11:00. The timeslot only defines the possible entry window, not the length of your visit in the museum.

House rules

for attending events organized by Bergbahnen

19.03.2024

PREAMBLE

A.

A.            Bergbahnen Sölden (Ötztaler Gletscherbahn GmbH & Co KG FN 21369a, Skiliftgesellschaft Sölden-Hochsölden GmbH FN 37680m, Schilifte Gampe, Ötztaler Gletscherbahn KG FN 19665w) organize various events in Sölden either independently or jointly in cooperation with Ötztal Tourismus (each an “Event” and collectively the “Events”).

B.          These House Rules have been established for all such events and – unless explicitly stated otherwise – apply to all events (the “House Rules”). For better readability, either the masculine or feminine form of a designation may be used in these House Rules. This does not imply discrimination against any other gender. All genders are intended to be addressed equally.

AGAINST THIS BACKGROUND, THE HOUSE RULES ARE AS FOLLOWS

1. general

All spectators and other persons authorized to access the event (collectively “Visitors”) are required, particularly for safety reasons, to carefully read and comply with the following notices and regulations contained in these House Rules. By using accreditation, an admission ticket, and/or (in cases where no regular ticketing is offered) by entering the event grounds, the visitor confirms that they are aware of and accept these House Rules.

2. Scope and duration

2.1.        These House Rules provide information and establish rules of conduct for visitors entering and staying at the event grounds during events. The “Event Grounds” include the areas used for conducting the event. These House Rules therefore apply without restriction to all persons present within the event grounds. If entry and security checks are implemented for an event, the event grounds are considered entered after passing the security checkpoints at the entrance and left when passing the exit.

2.2.       The House Rules apply from the beginning of visitor admission to the event grounds until the last visitor has left the event grounds after the event.

3. objectives of the house rules

The objectives of these House Rules are in particular:

  • To prevent danger or harm to persons and property
  • To comply with all legal and official regulations during the event
  • To protect the event grounds from damage and contamination
  • To ensure the smooth running of the events

4. Access to the Event Grounds

4.1.        All persons entering the event grounds must follow the instructions of the police, fire brigade, security, order and rescue services, and if applicable the stadium announcer. Anyone who intentionally or negligently fails to comply with these instructions may be removed from the grounds by security personnel or police.

4.2.        Access to the event grounds is only permitted with a valid admission authorization (e.g., ticket or accreditation). A ticket loses its validity if the spectator leaves the event grounds during the event unless the organizer provides a procedure allowing re-entry (e.g., re-scanning the ticket, stamp marking, etc.). Access with forged tickets will be refused and reported to authorities without exception.

4.3.         As a rule, entry and security checks will be carried out at all entrances to the event grounds. Upon request, proof of identity must be presented in an appropriate manner.

4.4.        Visitors must present their admission authorization to security personnel without being asked when entering the event grounds and hand it over for verification upon request. Proof of identity may also be requested while staying on the event grounds. If a visitor refuses, access may be denied or the visitor may be removed without refund of the ticket price. The validity and usability of the ticket are determined by the organizer’s General Terms and Conditions.

4.5.        Security personnel are authorized to search persons intending to enter the event for dangerous or prohibited items. This search includes clothing and carried containers and may be carried out using technical aids. Personal searches must be conducted by security personnel of the same gender.

4.6.        The security and order service is authorized to refuse entry to the event grounds to persons who refuse a search or who, due to their particular personal condition, could endanger the objectives of the house rules (e.g., due to alcohol or drug consumption). The same applies to persons who wish to bring dangerous or otherwise prohibited items (see section 4.9) onto the event grounds. In such a case, there is no entitlement to a refund of the admission fee. The security and order service may decide at its own discretion to allow entry if the visitor does not bring the dangerous or otherwise prohibited items onto the event grounds.

4.7.        Items whose possession is illegal will be confiscated and handed over to the police together with the personal details of the owner.

4.8.        Items prohibited under these House Rules may be deposited at designated locations under the instructions of security personnel at the visitor’s own risk. No storage contract is established. The organizer assumes no liability for lost or damaged items. Items not collected after the event may be disposed of or used for other purposes by the organizer.

4.9.        Prohibited Items are:

(a)    Any items prohibited by law (e.g., narcotics);

(b)    Pyrotechnic items of any kind;

(c)    Blunt weapons, cutting weapons, throwing objects;

(d)    Items bearing advertising, commercial, racist, far-right extremist, sexist, homophobic, provocative, insulting, indecent, religious, or political messages, as well as items that could damage the reputation of the event (e.g., banners, signs, leaflets). Any activities that involve advertising, even indirectly, are also expressly prohibited if they aim to exploit the event’s media attention without being an officially accredited sponsor of the event (so-called “ambush marketing”). Such items or activities may be removed or stopped at any time by the security and order service;

(e)    Any poles made of wood (except those for handheld flags, with a maximum length of 100 cm and a diameter of less than 1 cm) or metal. Other types of poles, such as flagpoles made of flexible plastic (e.g., KIR pipes) or telescopic flagpoles, as well as selfie sticks longer than 1.20 m and with a diameter greater than 2 cm, are also prohibited. Sticks or other walking aids may only be brought in by frail persons who require them as an indispensable support.

(f)     For all events - unless otherwise stated below - bulky items of any kind (e.g., strollers, bicycles, scooters, walkers) are prohibited, except for disability aids in the designated zones. If strollers and sleds are permitted, they are not allowed in grandstand seating areas. Strollers and sleds must never block walkways or obstruct other visitors. Sleds may only be pulled on the event grounds; riding them on the grounds is not permitted. The organizer explicitly assumes no liability for strollers or sleds brought to the event. Furthermore, when used downhill, sleds and strollers must be handled in a way that does not endanger or injure other visitors. In case of doubt, sleds or strollers must be carried. In the event of clearance or evacuation, sleds and strollers may no longer be used due to the high risk of tripping and injury to other visitors and must be parked outside the flow of visitors. Small children must be carried in such cases. For safety reasons (e.g., bad weather or excessive crowding), the organizer and the security and order service may prohibit bringing sleds and strollers at any time;

(g)    Weapons and ammunition of any kind;

(h)    Glass containers (e.g., glasses, bottles) and cans; alcoholic beverages of any kind;

(i)     Bottles/containers made of other materials (PET, etc.) larger than 0.5 liters

(j)     Laser devices (laser pointers) and items that create excessive noise (e.g., megaphones and gas horns) are prohibited. The bringing of noise-producing items (e.g., instruments) is only permitted for official fan clubs after prior registration no later than three days before the event. Such noise-producing items may only be used in the designated spectator area during the event and must not endanger or disturb other persons;

(k)    Drones or other flying objects (also prohibited from being flown into the area from outside);

(l)     Animals of any kind are prohibited. Exceptions may be made for assistance dogs or guide dogs for the blind. Service dogs that are brought for official duty are also exempt from this prohibition;

(m)  Any other dangerous objects.

4.10.     In case of doubt, the responsible security personnel decide whether an item is permitted.

4.11.      Fabric banners or flags without a rigid frame are permitted, provided that when they are hung in the event area they do not obstruct the spectators’ view of the course and the finish area, nor the advertising boards. The security and order service is authorized to remove banners or flags that cause disturbances.

5. Stay at the Event Grounds

5.1.        Only persons who carry a valid admission ticket or other entry authorization (e.g., accreditation), or who can otherwise prove their right to be at the event, are allowed on the event premises. Entry authorizations must also be presented at any time within the event premises upon request by the police or the security and order service.

5.2.        All persons entering the event premises must behave in a manner that does not harm, endanger, obstruct, or disturb others. The event premises and its facilities must be used carefully and responsibly.

5.3.        All persons entering the event premises must behave in a manner that does not disrupt the course of the event. In particular, the competition or stage area must not be entered, nor may the event proceedings be disturbed in any way (e.g., by throwing snowballs or other objects at performers/actors or into the stage area, or by unauthorized entry into the stage area). In case of violation, the organizer may claim damages from the responsible person.

5.4.        All persons entering the event premises must not discard waste, packaging materials, or empty containers carelessly, but must dispose of them in the waste bins provided on the premises. Proper separation of the materials for disposal must be observed.

5.5.        All visitors entering the event premises must take the seat assigned to them and indicated on their ticket, and must use only the designated access routes to reach it. If safety distances to other visitors are mandated by law, authorities, and/or the organizer to prevent COVID-19 infections, these must be strictly observed. For safety reasons and to prevent hazards, visitors are required to occupy seats other than those indicated on their ticket - including in different sections - if instructed to do so by the police or the security and order service.

5.6.        All entrances and exits, as well as emergency, escape, and rescue routes, must be kept clear. Regardless of these house rules, additional necessary measures may be issued on a case-by-case basis at any time to prevent or eliminate danger to life, health, or property. Instructions issued for this purpose by the police or the security and order service must be followed.

5.7.        It is forbidden to:

(a)    Disturb public safety and order;

(b)    Carry prohibited items;

(c)    To harass, startle, or endanger persons, in particular athletes during preparation and competition;

(d)    To misuse alarm systems, emergency calls, or distress signals;

(e)    To pollute or damage the event premises or its infrastructure;

(f)     To cause a public nuisance or to act contrary to decency and public morals;

(g)     To behave in a manner contrary to the objectives of the house rules (see, in particular, point 3).

In addition, regarding smoking on the event premises, reference is made to the applicable legal regulations.

5.8.        Driving and parking within the event premises is only permitted with a special authorization pass. The respective restrictions must be observed. Otherwise, the provisions of the road traffic regulations, in their currently valid version, apply throughout the premises.

5.9.        In the event of cancellation or termination of the event, visitors must leave the event premises immediately and in an orderly manner. In the case of thunderstorms (in particular involving lightning, hail, storm warnings, and similar natural events), the instructions of the security personnel must be followed without delay. Visitors who do not comply with the instructions of the security personnel in such cases, particularly by not leaving the premises, do so at their own risk. The organizer cannot assume any liability for damages resulting from the disregard of instructions issued by the responsible security and order service.

5.10.        After the end of the event, all visitors must leave the event premises immediately and in an orderly manner.

6. Liability

6.1.        Caution: The event premises may include alpine terrain! Visitors must adjust their behavior, clothing, footwear, and equipment to the specific conditions of the winter natural environment.

6.2.        The visitor is specifically advised that the noise level at events can be very high, which may pose a risk of hearing and health damage. The visitor is responsible for taking appropriate protective measures. This applies in particular to children, for whom their respective guardians are responsible for ensuring protective measures, and to individuals with sensitive hearing.

6.3.        Presence on the event premises is at one’s own risk. Liability is limited in accordance with the organizer’s General Terms and Conditions. Accidents, damages, and injuries must be reported to the organizer immediately at the designated facilities.

6.4.        Accidents, damage, and injuries must be reported to the organizer immediately.

7. Violations

7.1.        Any violation of the house rules, and in particular any behavior that endangers safety, entitles the organizer or the appointed security and order service to expel the person violating the house rules from the event premises. The assertion of any other (additional) claims by the organizer (e.g., claims for damages) remains expressly reserved.

7.2.       Criminal offenses and administrative violations will be reported to authorities.

8.  Audio and image recordings

8.1.        The visitor acknowledges that, at events, audio and visual recordings may occasionally be made for journalistic purposes (see § 9 Austrian Data Protection Act – öDSG), which may subsequently be used (television and radio broadcasts, photo, video, audio, etc.). If the visitor is photographed, filmed, or otherwise recorded during or in connection with the event in image, sound, or photo recordings approved by the organizer for television, radio, internet, film, print media, etc., the visitor agrees that these images or recordings may be stored, evaluated, and used by the organizer and/or other authorized parties (e.g., television broadcasters) free of charge, without temporal or geographic limitation, using any current or future technical method, including for commercial purposes, provided that such use does not unduly infringe upon the visitor’s personal interests. In this context, the organizer is also entitled to grant third parties rights of use to the aforementioned recordings.

8.2.        The visitor acknowledges that the organizer may conduct video surveillance of the spectator areas throughout the entire event premises for the safety of all participants and in order to prosecute violations of the law or breaches of the house rules. The legality of this is based on § 12(3)(2) of the Austrian Data Protection Act (öDSG), as the recordings are necessary for the preventive protection of persons or property in publicly accessible places that are subject to the organizer’s house rights. The video recordings will be automatically deleted after 72 hours, unless they are required for a specific reason for the purposes of protection and securing evidence or for transmission to a competent authority, a competent court, or security authorities.

8.3.        Visitors are prohibited from transmitting, in whole or in part, audio and/or visual material, descriptions, results, and/or statistics of the event via the internet, radio, TV, or other present and/or future media technologies, or from assisting others in carrying out such activities. Visitors are only permitted to make photo, film, video, or other audio/visual recordings of the event for private use. Any commercial use or use for profit of such recordings is strictly prohibited.

9. Final provisions

The house rules are made accessible to visitors in their current version in an appropriate manner (publication on the organizer’s website or, if applicable, linked information platforms, posting of excerpts at box offices and on the event premises, and, in some cases, the house rules are also provided to the ticket purchaser as part of the ticket purchase process).
