Everything is better the sooner: our BRS Festival is moving from autumn to summer and will take place from 18 to 21 June 2026. Offering even more highlights: join the BRS Rally, our iconic FUNduro team competition. Watch the world's best freestyle riders shred the "Dirt District" during the Swatch Nines Public Sessions. Or simply soak up the festival vibes and enjoy the entertaining four-day side program.

BRS Rally
A fun-packed special challenge on the saddle: for all you downhill aficionados, enduro enthusiasts and pedalo people, the unrivaled BRS Rally is a yearly held top-class FUNduro race format. In this rally, you can compete as a team of 2 or 3, starting on Gaislachkogl summit at over 3,000 meters. Equipped with a special pass, the main aim is to collect visa stamps and master special challenges throughout the national territory.

Swatch Nines Public Sessions
As part of the unique BRS Festival, the world's best slopestyle & freeride athletes return to the Alp's most flowing nation. And this time they will also bring reinforcements: the BMX elite celebrate their Sölden debut by showing what's possible on a hardtail bike!
You can be there live twice as the bike pros push themselves to new tricks and records at the Public Sessions in the Republic's "Dirt District".
Swatch Nines Public Night Show

It was THE undisputed highlight of the last edition and - thanks to the innovative lighting concept - promises to be one again this year: just in time for dusk (around 20:00) on Thursday, 18 June 2026, the riders will soar to dizzying heights in the floodlit "Dirt District" at Grünwald and unleash a stunning display of tricks that you won't want to miss. At Panorama Alm in the event area, food and drinks are available first, followed by great party vibes and DJ music.
Swatch Nines Public Day
Sat, 20.06.2026 from 14:00
Because one session is not enough and daylight has its advantages too, the Public Day in the "Dirt District" takes place on Saturday, 20 June starting at 14:00. By the way: the entire area featuring freeride & slopestyle lines was optimized last year by the riders themselves - therefore promising even more airtime and options!

Feel the Nines

"Feel the Nines" will give you (with a bit of luck) the chance to experience the BRS Festival from a rider's perspective and spend time with your idols, true to the motto “Feel it. Ride it. Watch it.” The program includes exclusive ride-outs and workshops in the "Dirt District" together with stars like Sam Hodgson, Vero Sandler and other figureheads: more detailed information on participation & schedule will follow.

Founded by Fabio Wibmer and Andrea Maranelli, this ultimate show comprises spectacular freestyle, MTB, trial & BMX action - plus acrobatics, fun and giveaways. Afterwards, the riders will be available for autographs and selfies! Note: Fabio Wibmer will not be present.

Biking technique courses for adults & children
This should be at the top of every mountain biker's bucket list: a biking technique and skills course. The local bike schools will show you how to improve your technique on the bike - be it on the beginner-friendly pump track or on the lines and trails of the huge Republic.

When do you ever get the chance to hit some trails together with a bike pro and learn something new at the same time? Exactly! Because culinary enjoyment doesn't stop at the borders of the Republic, once again this year, we proudly present fine gourmet stalls offering a wide variety of regional delicacies. Local partners are putting in a lot of effort, serving individually and sustainably created dishes - that's how we do street food!

- Krautschädl: The comeback everyone has been waiting for is finally here! Risen from the depths of the "Wels Schlachthaus" cellars, Krautschädl are back to fill the void in the Austrian rock scene. 2025 was the year the legends of dialectical "Goschnrock" celebrated their return to the big show stage. In 2026, they will be performing at the BRS Festival. Listen to a sample HERE.
- Mr. Dero: Since starting as a DJ in 1997, Mr. Dero has been known for his dancefloor-filling sets and his love of hard-hitting, high-energy club music: ranging from hip-hop, dancehall and R&B to amapiano, uptempo breaks, UKG, drum and bass, Jersey club, baile, funk, soul and reggae – all combined with outstanding turntablism skills and boundless energy. - Udo West: Light-footed and freshly coiffed, Udo West are unmistakable when they take the stage together. Their mix of pop and funk with German lyrics places them squarely within the sound of "Neue Deutsche Welle" (New German Wave). Get ready for heavy drums, synth sounds and tons of energy on stage. - DJ Bazooka: Switzerland's figurehead of the Red Bull Thre3style Battle has already won the title of best party rocker in the country twice and narrowly missed out on the ultimate prize at the 2011 World Finals in Vancouver, finishing second. He was also awarded the Swiss Nightlife Award for best "Open Format DJ 2014" for his contributions to the Swiss DJ scene. Listen to a sample HERE.
The ultimate balancing act: the Bike Obstacle Duel absolutely requires skill, balance and yes, even drinking stamina must be put to the test - at least in the adult category. You will compete against your rival in a knockout duel, performing a Le Mans start, chugging a beer and then mastering the obstacle course on a kids' bike. Whoever is faster advances to the next round. There are separate categories for adults and children.

Better safe than sorry: the free, guarded ABUS bike garage is available to you during the entire festival. Your bike will be safely stored here when you are not out on the saddle while soaking up the festival vibes. Please note: bring an official photo ID! The bike garage is not supervised overnight.

The festival grounds are located in the parking area of Gaislachkogl Gondola, base station:

You can reach the event area by bike via Gahe Line (6028) or Olm Volle Line (6040) - except for the Public Night Show. - By shuttle
A shuttle service runs every 8 minutes from Gaislachkogl or Giggijoch bus stops to Grünwald on Thursday, 18 June, starting at 18:00 and on Saturday, 20 June, starting at 12:30. - On foot
You can also take the footpath along the "Stations of the Cross" which starts in the "Hainbach" area (near Shell gas station).
We kindly ask you to park in the marked paid visitor parking areas. These are located near the event area.

For example, at the top modern Sölden Campsite or at the other camping grounds spread across Ötztal valley. HERE you will find all the information about camping options in Ötztal.
Friendly reminder: wild camping is not permitted in the Sölden region as well as in the entire Ötztal valley and will be prosecuted and punished by the official authorities!
Yes, admission to the festival grounds is free and everyone has the opportunity to test bikes and accessories presented by the exhibitors and watch the MTB trial shows. Only participation in the biking technique courses and the BRS Rally are subject to an entry fee.
If you are interested in one of the biking technique courses, you can register online in advance or on site at the bike school info tent.
You can pick up your starting package on Thursday, 19 June 2026 from 15:00 to 19:30 and on Friday, 20 June 2026 from 8:00 to 9:30 in front of the base station of Gaislachkogl Gondola.
