Dirt District
Good (Air)Times Ahead
The Bike Republic has a new province: welcome to the 13,300 m² Dirt District, the new meeting place for all freestyle & slopestyle aficionados. No matter if you are looking for spectacular jumps or creative lines, the XXL Dirt Park and its airspace will be open from the 2025 bike season! 3...2...1...Takeoff!
The area at a glance
The Dirt District - playground of the Swatch Nines athletes at the BRS Festival - can be found in the hamlet of Grünwald. How to get there: take an uphill ride on Giggijoch mountain gondola, then downhill along the flowing Gahe Line. The area is located in the last third of the course (Note: no parking on site).
Once arrived at the Dirt District, Damische Line (slopestyle line) is your one and only route. It's the centerpiece and packed with cleverly shaped features, massive kickers, step-ups & downs, technical gaps, a quarter pipe and even more obstacles.
Please note
The Dirt District with its slopestyle line is only aimed at very experienced riders who feel comfortable in the air and want to take their tricks to the next level. A trail inspection is mandatory before biking down!
Please assess your own skills correctly and, if in doubt, practice your jumps on smaller kickers first - like our Broate Line. Also note that riding is at your own risk as the terrain is technically challenging and potentially dangerous. Misjudging your abilities can have serious consequences. The following visualization shows a complete overview of the Dirt District.

Ride smart
The Dirt District is a giant playground, but not a plaything! True to the motto "better safe than sorry", we urge you to consider the following points before you plunge into downhill fun (literally, of course):
- Mandatory trail inspection: before riding the slopestyle line, you must carefully inspect the entire course. Pay attention to traffic coming from above.
- Wind, weather & terrain conditions: be aware that local conditions change very quickly. A fact that can have a significant impact on riding, jumping and flying behavior. All bikers must assess these effects on the course and riding behavior themselves.
- Know your limits: assess rather than overestimate - if you are unsure, practice on smaller features first.
- Protective gear is mandatory: full-face helmet, protectors and a safe bike setup are essential and mandatory.
- First things first, warm-up: always start with a proper warm-up because cold muscles combined with big jumps make for a bad match.
- Mutual respect: keep a safe distance, overtake carefully and wait patiently when queuing.
- No pressure: don't be tempted or even pushed into daredevil jumps - safety not poker.
Friendly reminder: riding the slopestyle line in the Dirt District is at your own risk. Bike Republic Sölden does not accept any liability for accidents.
