1st Mountain Cart Games Sölden

Let the games begin! The 1st Mountain Cart Games Sölden will celebrate their premiere on Gaislachkogl Adventure Mountain from 11 to 12 Sep 2026. As a team of three, you and your buddies or besties will not only have to maneuver the off-road go-karts down a 7 km long course to the valley floor, but also master crazy challenges on the downhill route. 3, 2, 1, go!

Schedule
The meeting point for all teams is Gaislachkogl middle station, where the mountain cart track starts. You will comfortably ascend on Gaislachkogl gondola lift, the uphill gondola ride is included in the entry fee. Once there, the mountain carts will be ready and waiting, we will take care of transportation! The finish line is at the "Rolling" pump track.
Race format
You will start simultaneously as a team of three, each team member has their own mountain cart. Each team can complete two runs, which will count towards the final standings:
- Round 1: Sat, 12 Sep 2026 | From 10:00
- Round 2: Sat, 12 Sep 2026 | From 13:00
All teams will be assigned a time slot already in advance. The mountain carts will be ready 10 minutes prior to each run.
Challenges
Along the route, there are several stations where you have to master challenges as a team. Depending on how quickly, successfully or precisely you complete these tasks, your team will earn points that are recorded on a scorecard. The fewer points you collect, the better your ranking. Simple relax and be surprised by the crazy challenges that await you!
Scoring & Prizes
Once you reach the finish line, hand in your scorecard. A jury will then determine the winning teams. The following categories are available:
- Men's category (Top 3)
- Women's category (Top 3)
- Mixed category (Top 3)
- Style award: Which team has the best costumes? A jury will judge it - based on creativity and originality (one team will be awarded).
- Bonus prize: The last team to finish will receive a special prize … provided they pass this one last extra challenge ;-)
The awards ceremony takes place in the finish area ("Rolling" pump track) on Sat, 12 Sep 2026, at 17:00. The winning teams can look forward to high-quality prizes provided by our partners and sponsors!
Side Program
A proper race weekend needs an entertaining side program! No sooner said than done: Look forward to food & drinks, live music, entertainment & a lot more - both at the start on Gaislachkogl middle station and at the finish line next to the "Rolling" pump track. More information coming soon.
Entry Fee
The entry fee is € 129 per team until 30 Jun 2026 (early bird price). From 01 Jul 2026, the entry fee amounts to € 159 per team. The fee includes the following: mountain carts and a 2-ride ticket per person for Gaislachkogl gondola lift (valid only on Sat, 12 Sep 2026). Maximum number of participants: 40 teams!
