Package Deal – Ötztaler Cycle Marathon 2026

Due to high demand, the organizer is offering 500 starting places for package deals. Registered cyclists who are not selected in the official raffle will have the opportunity to book a non-transferable special starting place in combination with accommodation during the Ötztaler Cycle Marathon period.

Allocation will take place during the specified sales period (starting from 9th March) on a first-come, first-served principle – so it's worth to think on one's feet!

The package deal "I have a dream - Ötztaler" is only valid during the event period of Ötztaler Cycle Marathon (30.08.2026)
The package offer is to be understood as a competitor package and can be booked with or without accompanying persons
For package travel services provided by Ötztal Tourismus Incoming GmbH as an organizer, a guest submits the booking to Ötztal Tourismus Incoming GmbH directly
Special starting places are non-transferable and bound to the package booking
The package price includes accommodation and the race entry fee plus chip deposit. The local tax € 5.00 per person/night is not included and must be paid directly at the accommodation

Important information

Before finalizing the booking, please consider the following information:

The package deal can only be booked online via the website www.oetztaler-radmarathon.com during the sales period, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A total of 500 special starting places are available. The booking link will be displayed directly on the front page.

For booking dates/minimum stays, there are no reserved starting places. Allocation is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Unused spots will be transferred to the next booking date. Once all spots are taken, no further bookings are possible!

Booking period and minimum stay:

09th & 10th March 2026: 7-night stay
11th ~~& 12th~~ March 2026: 6-night stay
~~16th & 17th March 2026: 5-night stay~~
~~18th & 19th March 2026: 4-night stay~~

The remaining booking dates from 12 March are cancelled, as all starting places are already sold out.

While submitting the booking via the website (by choosing “confirm booking”), the guest submits an offer to conclude a contract to Ötztal Tourismus Incoming GmbH. Upon written confirmation of the booking (e.g. by e-mail) by Ötztal Tourismus Incoming GmbH, the contract is concluded.

To complete the booking it’s necessary to provide first and last name, as well as the date of birth, of all fellow travelers.

There is a wide range of accommodations available in the Ötztal – the options include comfortable hotels, B&Bs, and apartments.

Otherwise, slots for all fellow travelers will automatically be added to the cart

The payment in full can be made either via bank transfer or credit card (Mastercard, VISA).

Due to the limited number of starting spots, the package is limited to a maximum of 6 people per booking. For larger groups, multiple bookings are required.

The number of starting places must be selected according to the number of registered cyclists. Starting place holders must be part of the package booking. The starting place holders must be included in the package booking and must be specified by name in the text box “message”.

Changes to existing bookings are not possible. However, additional persons can be booked separately, provided there are vacancies in the accommodation. Additional starting places cannot be added after the initial reservation.

The inclusion in the start list occurs after the payment is received. For credit card payments, processing may take up to 14 days.

The start list is updated at the end of each week, after the payment confirmation has been issued.

Prior to departure, a guest may, at any time, cancel the travel contract without giving reasons. Unless § 9 Abs 2 PRG applies (cancellation without fees for package tours), the guest must, depending on the time of receipt by Ötztal Tourismus Incoming GmbH of cancellation, pay the following cancellation fees:

until 23 June 2026: no cancellation fee
from 24 June 2026: 50% of the travel price
from 25 July 2026: 70% of the travel price
from 16 August 2026: 85% of the travel price
no show: 100% of the travel price

With the cancellation, the claim to the starting places is forfeited, and the registration will be deleted. The processing fee is € 50.00.

If a participant for whatever reason is not able to start in the marathon, there is no entitlement to a refund for the starting place or accommodation. The booking remains unchanged for the other participants to ensure their starting places are not forfeited.
