Are you traveling to your hiking or biking day in Sölden by private car? Or are you hiking from hut to hut for several days in a row and looking for a suitable parking space? Cars can be parked in the spacious parking areas of Bergbahnen Sölden for a fee.
Fee-based parking garages and parking areas of Bergbahnen Sölden mountain lifts are available directly at the two feeder mountain gondolas of Giggijoch and Gaislachkogl. Different parking rates and payment options ensure flexibility and easy handling.

We make it easy for you and offer user-friendly handling and payment of the parking process. The parking areas of the Bergbahnen Sölden and the underground car park of the Freizeit Arena allow barrier-free access via number plate recognition.
Pay before you leave
Before you exit, you can pay for your parking ticket either by credit card or cash (from January 2024) directly at one of the parking automats.
Pay after you leave
If you have left the paid parking lot or parking garage without paying, you can pay the parking fee online afterwards. The parking fee can be paid easily and conveniently online up to 48 hours after parking. Select the parking area used at the Gaisalchkogl or Giggijochbahn or Freizeitarena garage, enter the license plate number and pay.

In the center of Sölden there are several short term parking zones where cars can be parked for up to two hours, whereby the first half hour is free of charge.

In the short term parking zones you can also pay by cash or card directly at the parking machines, or digital via the smartphone apps from Parkster or Arivo.
No matter where your chosen holiday accommodation is located: the public bus network ensures a stress-free and sustainable journey to the man mountain gondola and lift stations in Sölden and back again. With the free Guest Card you can use valley-wide public transport at a 30% discount in summer, and even free of charge with the Summer Card!
Why do we need parking area management?
The traffic volume within Ötztal is steadily increasing from year to year. In order to counteract this trend and make a contribution to the mobility transition, car parking management was introduced. It is intended to reduce non-essential private traffic by promoting the use of public transport lines at the same time - thanks to the free Guest Card you can use valley-wide public bus lines at a 30% discount in summer, and even free of charge with the Summer Card!
Part of the proceeds coming from car parking management is reinvested directly in valley-wide public transport in order to further improve and expand services in the future. Together we will achieve the mobility transition and thereby protect the climate – thank you for your help!
