The Ötztaler Alps are the perfect example of highly alpine scenery for many mountain friends. The possibilities for the walking, climbing, mountaineering, ice climbing and ski tours in this varied and magnificent mountain group are infinite. Alone the whole enclosing glacier surface of 300 km ² with 256 3-thousand mark notes speaks for itself. The striking wild point with her 3.768 m, as the highest and probably best known mountain of the Ötztaler Alps, would be mentioned only as one of many worthwhile purposes beside many other.
