Why did we introduce a new ticketing model?
Thanks to you and the entire EMF community, the Electric Mountain Festival is now bursting at the seams. So we have been thinking hard about how we can continue to guarantee safety and dance into the future together! With our new ticketing model we can better manage visitor flows throughout the ski area and regulate access to the festival area on the two main festival days (16-17 Apr 2026). Please note that regular skipasses are therefore NO LONGER automatically valid EMF admission tickets!
What about the rest of the festival program – do I need a ticket for that too?
For the festival specials during the week (Monday to Wednesday) as well as on Saturday, no additional ticket is required. These events are freely accessible, except for VIP areas and special formats.
However: Depending on the location, a valid ski pass may be required to get there.
Are stand-alone uphill & downhill gondola tickets available on the main days as well?
On the event days, 16 and 17 April 2026, beginner tickets, half-day tickets (from 11:00 / from 12:00 / from 13:00), as well as mountain and valley ride tickets will not be available. Regular full-day ski passes will still be available and can be purchased in the ski ticket shop or at the Sölden mountain lift ticket offices.
