Getting there, parking & shuttle

The location of the event

The Hannibal Glacier Spectacle takes place on Rettenbach Glacier at 2,675 m. The spectators' area is located between Schwarze Schneid I gondola base station and Rettenbach Market Restaurant: it is easily accessible.

Program:

Admission to event area: 17:30
Start of performance: 19:30
End of performance: approx. 21:00

How to get there

Rettenbach Glacier can be reached via Ötztal Glacier Road. You have the following options:

Drive up by private car (ample parking is available at Rettenbach Glacier). Please note: access to the glacier road is only possible with a valid Hannibal ticket (no road toll fee). Access control will be made at the toll station.
Drive up by shuttle bus: park your car at one of the parking areas in Sölden (see details below) and then travel free of charge up to Rettenbach Glacier and back again with a valid Hannibal ticket. Access control will be made when boarding the shuttle bus.

SHUTTLE BUS SÖLDEN – RETTENBACH GLACIER

On the day of the event, free shuttle buses will run regularly between Sölden and Rettenbach Glacier. The shuttle bus stops at the following locations in Sölden:

Giggijoch gondola
Postplatz square
Gaislachkogl gondola

DEPARTURE TIMES

Shuttle Sölden -> Rettenbach Glacier: 17:00 - 19:15
Shuttle Rettenbach Glacier -> Sölden: 21:30 - 24:00
