Glacier road toll fees 2018/19
SKIER OR NON-SKIER, THAT IS THE QUESTION
The Ötztal Glacier Toll Road climbs from Sölden up to the glacier ski areas of Tiefenbach and Rettenbachferner. However, only non-skiers pay the road toll. Holders of a valid skipass or people carrying ski equipment can use the road for free. It is recommended to check the current road status daily as the glacier road is passable only in good weather, also depending on the amount freshly fallen snow especially in spring. In winter the road is always closed to public traffic.
