Lutz Bormann (born in 1956) took up mountaineering at the age of ten and has been able to combine his passion with his career as a journalist since 1991: first came the magazine BERGE, then DAV Panorama at the German Alpine Club and a range of other outdoor magazines at his own editorial office. Family life made the mountains steeper, the routes shorter and the texts longer, but now my work for ÖTZTAL MAGAZIN and the Tyrol Mountain Rescue Service is bringing me closer to my passion for the mountains again.
