The starting point is the central car park in Oetz. Cross the street and walk through the old town center of Oetz, past the Gasthof Stern and the Tower Museum to the church. The path then leads up a forest road to the viewing platform "Hexenplatte". A witch is said to have once wandered through this area. Evidence of this are her footprints, which she left in one of the rocks - the so-called "Hexenplatte".
Return is along the same path. Alternatively, you can turn right at the stone path and return on the steeper hiking trail.
