From the Brückenwirt guesthouse in Zwieselstein, you walk on a wide, flat field path toward the sports ground. After a small bridge, follow the path along the right side of the Ache. The path runs gently uphill, partly also downhill, to the small hamlet of Bodenegg.

This leisurely hike is ideal for the whole family – easy to walk, scenically appealing, and without large altitude differences.

At the end of the Ötztal valley, at 1,470 m above sea level, lies the idyllic village of Zwieselstein. Local artists, lovingly preserved wooden houses, and old Tyrolean buildings give the village a very special charm.

Zwieselstein invites you to linger – and is also a perfect starting point for many other routes in the Ötztal.
