Free parking options

During the World Cup weekend from Fri, 24 Oct - Sun, 26 Oct 2025, you can park for free in all parking areas and parking garages of Bergbahnen Sölden lift company (parking management is deactivated during this period).


Park & Ride

If you are arriving by car, we strongly recommend that you leave your car in the free parking areas in Sölden and continue to the glacier by using the World Cup shuttle bus, as the parking spaces at Rettenbach Glacier are almost entirely occupied by the World Cup officials and teams.

Free arrival journey from Ötztal-Bahnhof

Travel to the races sustainably and for free: holders of a valid Ski World Cup ticket can travel FOR FREE on public transport lines from Ötztal-Bahnhof at the valley entrance to Sölden (bus no. 320) on Sat, 25 Oct 2025, and Sun, 26 Oct 2025, and continue on the World Cup shuttle bus via the Glacier Road up to Rettenbach Glacier. And back again, of course!

Shuttle Buses

On the race weekend (Sat + Sun) shuttle buses run from Sölden to the Rettenbach Glacier directly to the World Cup area and back.
The use is included in the ticket price.

Holders of a valid ski pass can also use the bus free of charge. 

STOPS FOR WORLD CUP SHUTTLE BUSES

  • Giggijochbahn (NO ticket sales) 
  • Sparkasse (ticket sales only day tickets)
  • Gaislachkoglbahn (ticket sales)

The buses run to the glacier on Saturday and Sunday from approx. 07:45 am to 01:00 pm as required.

GLACIER RETURN - SÖLDEN

The shuttle buses from the glacier to the valley will only run as far as the Gaislachkogl valley station from 1:00 pm - from there, a shuttle service to the Sparkasse and Giggijoch valley station will be available from 1:00 pm.

  • Fri, 24.10. & Sat, 25.10.: 08:30 am – 10:00 pm
  • Sun, 26.10.: 08:30 am – 06:00 pm
