Convenient skibus connection


Once you have arrived in Zwieselstein, the car can confidently stay in the parking lot or garage of the accommodation for the rest of your stay. In the winter months the skibus runs from Zwieselstein every 10 minutes and takes skiers and snowboarders comfortably to Sölden and Gurgl. Free of charge for holders of a valid guest card!

For example, on the cross-country ski loop trail into Venter Tal, which can be mastered either in classic or skating style and leads through magical winter landscapes along Venter Ache brook. Skiing to the third power

56 mountain lifts and 256 slope kilometers at all difficulty levels are spread over the three ski areas of Sölden, Gurgl and Vent. And right in-between there is Zwieselstein, which puts you in a torture of choosing a ski area every day. But the choice doesn’t have to be a torture necessarily as the Ötztal Super Skipass (available from 3+ days) gives access to all ski areas within the valley.

Discover unspoilt nature at your own pace. The best way to do so in Zwieselstein: Enjoy a leisurely snowshoe or winter hike. From here, winter hiking trails and footpaths lead in all directions through snow-covered forests and along rushing mountain brooks. Only the crunching snow under your feet interrupts the silence of nature.

Getting there

Zwieselstein is very easy to reach by car and can hardly be missed: from the Ötztal autobahn exit you follow the federal Ötztal road (B 186) into the valley, past Sölden in the direction of Gurgl or Vent. You simply continue on the federal road until you get to Zwieselstein. The journey to Ötztal can also be made by train in a relaxing way. There are direct connections from different countries to Ötztal-Bahnhof, the entrance to Ötztal. From the station’s main square you can take the bus to Zwieselstein.
