Safety guidelines

Suitable for hikers who are not afraid of heights, sure-footed, and alpine experienced;

Very good physical condition, alpine experience, and mountain equipment.

By bike along the Ötztal Cycle Path towards Huben. A wide forest road to the Breitlehn Alm starts before the Fun Park Huben.

Just before the Polltal Alm, turn left and a narrow mountain path begins towards the Hahlkoglhaus.

The path initially leads through dense forest.

Above the tree line stands the beautifully located Hahlkoglhaus – over level mossy ground the path then leads directly to the summit cross of the Hahlkogl. The last few meters are somewhat exposed and require a head for heights.
