Much more than just the connection between Gaislachkogl and Giggijoch in the BIKE REPUBLIC SÖLDEN: The blue TROALN LINE is an absolute fun and enjoyment route.
[tʁˈɔal̩n̩] Leisurely dawdling (and maybe goofing around a bit), that's what Troaln means to the Ötztal locals, and accordingly, the 1.6 km long line is a route to catch your breath and enjoy. It connects the OLLWEITE LINE (from the height of the legendary Steinfeld) with the HARBE and GAHE LINE at Giggijoch.
The TROALN cruises relaxedly and offers fun rollers, berms and jumps with generous landings. It starts at the height of the Rock Gardens, the legendary Steinfeld of OLLWEITE, and leads without major elevation loss to the HARBE at Giggijoch. The entire route from the OLLWEITE entry at 2,600 m down to the valley station of the Giggijoch cable car covers a huge 16 km (!!!) – the Long Line Giggijoch.
Author’s recommendation
You can stop for a break at the entry of OLLWEITE at the Rotkogel hut or on the Giggijoch side at the Wirtshaus Giggijoch or the Sonnblick restaurant.

Safety information
The TROALN LINE is a blue line and therefore not very demanding in terms of riding skills.
In the BIKE REPUBLIC SÖLDEN it's all about shared fun in bike sport – no matter what riding level you have. Be considerate of each other and support one another. Also behave just as respectfully towards all other people on the mountain and in the valley – and towards nature.
–> Stay on the paved and signposted paths. Do not ride over open meadows!
–> Avoid skidding the rear wheel and thus help to preserve the paths.
–> Be considerate of animals & close the pasture gates. Cows can always be found on the trails and lines. Ride carefully and keep your distance!
