The Tour
From the Vorderer Leierstalalm, hike along the wide track to a fork, where you choose the narrow ascent to the right to the Erlanger Hut. Then continue ascending towards Wettersee. Above the lake, you ascend through rocky slopes on a faint path along the east ridge of the Wildgrat. You cross two snowfields and continue hiking towards the summit ridge.

Public transit
Travel comfortably and safely by train to the Ötztal station. The final stop or exit point is the ÖTZTAL station. Afterwards, you can conveniently and quickly travel through the entire valley to your desired destination by public bus or local taxi services.

The car trip to the ÖTZTAL. Located in Tyrol, the ÖTZTAL branches southwards as the longest side valley of the Eastern Alps. Traveling by car takes visitors through the Inn Valley to the valley entrance and further along the Ötztal. Besides the toll highway, country roads can also be used. Equipment
Appropriate equipment such as breathable and weather-appropriate outdoor clothing, ankle-high hiking boots, wind, rain and sun protection, a cap, and possibly gloves, is required for all hikes and routes. Carrying a first aid kit, a mobile phone, and possibly a hiking map, as well as sufficient provisions for hikes without the opportunity to stop for food, is necessary.
