Hello, bike buddies & bike besties! For all new citizens here is a quick guide to the Bike Republic - so you know which trails to explore (or ride) in the national territory. Whether your bike crew is looking for seemingly endless lines, airtime, roots or pure enjoyment, the flow nation's transport network offers the right terrain for everyone!
Never-ending: long lines & trails
First of all: the Bike Republic covers quite high altitudes and is pretty endless. We are talking about high alpine terrain! A quick up & down isn't really possible but that's a good thing. Here with us, it's going up followed by a loooooong down. Or it's going up even higher and down even longer. Just like on the 16 km (!) Giggijoch Long Line covering 1,300 meters of vertical drop. Or on Rotkogl Long Line featuring 12.5 km and 1,300 meters of vertical drop. A total of four long lines and trails will put your endurance to the test!
Love is in the air(time)
Is your bike crew looking for air supremacy? Say no more! If you like to take flight and love jumps above all else, you will find myriad options at the Bike Republic. There's the easy-peasy Broate Line, where you can get your first taste of high altitude air. If you feel comfortable there, try Zaahe Line. And if you still haven't had enough, just conquer Olm Volle Line – the deep black line is a true challenge, peppered with gaps, drops and corners.
Speaking of gaps and drops: the unrivaled Dirt District in the lower third of Gahe Line is a huge playground (or rather: a sandbox) for freestyle & slopestyle fans. Covering more than 13,000 m², the area combines obstacles such as a quarter pipe, a wave drop and a big air. Incidentally, the world's best riders also push themselves to new tricks and top performances here during the spectacular BRS Festivals x Swatch Nines event. Spoiler: in 2026, the Bike Republic will be expanding again with a new jump line!
challenging single trails
Can't get enough rocks (and roots) on your trail? Then Bike Republic is exactly the right place for you! Our high alpine highlight ride, the Fernar Trail starting at the glacier, is accessible via shuttle several times a week. Those looking for more challenging nature trails will find them on Jägers Notweg Trail and Nene Trail.
Tasty: enjoyment on the trail
Now, relax for a moment: it doesn't always have to be the most technically challenging single trail. Bike Republic offers equally enjoyable and easy shaped lines for gentle downhill cruising. Or you can combine the "ups and downs" on our selected enduro trails. A prime example is Schölder Enduro stretching over some 22 km through the high alpine landscape.
